Ed, the oil fill is simply a plastic tube. Can you just take a piece out of the middle and epoxy it back together or sleeve it?Looks like you’re coming down the home stretch.

Not familiar with the VW column, but does the stalk thread in like a domestic GM or Ford turn signal stalk? If so, the short tilt column adjuster lever from a domestic vehicle will thread in in place of the turn signal lever. Basically, 3″ as opposed to 6″. Just a thought.

Looks like some of the welds on my rear suspension. Only ever had a problem with one in a lot of years. How many will be signing up for the Autocross on Saturday? Ed, you need to compare before and after time slips. We should be able to “reserve” a block of time again with Henry on Friday evening.
