Gorgeous car Blake! The only tell is the round gauges. So hard to source those 2-year only octagonal ones!

I’m glad you managed to get that one imported.
This photo is from 2016 on a rally put together by Vicenc Feliu (standing). Cars, besides mine are Ed Ericson’s (foreground) and Dale Schumacher’s (background).
I hope you can figure out the cause of the photo mystery.

You’ve probably seen the photos of my slog around the track at Pocono Raceway, especially the one with the inside tire up in the air. That experience prompted me to install sway bars on this thing. I was amazed that Speedway Motors had a listing for bars for the MustangII. I ordered the rear one to start and was surprised how well it fit. I had to…[Read more]

Have you looked into purchasing a matched gauge and sender? There’s a bunch of various offerings on the market.

edward ericson replied to the topic Dash Plate Restore in the forum General Discussion 5 months, 2 weeks ago
Hey Stefan, nice find! I did mine a dozen years ago and paid a lot more for an original plate in worse shape than yours. (Story at link).
Originally these were bolted to the wood dash panel with those round-head screws, with a nut and spring washer on the back of each one. The holes they fit through are squared off so you don’t need to hold…[Read more]

Of course, I will be there. I will, once again, tow the car out and leave it in the pavilion with the Pennsylvania Hillclimb Association. Looking forward to seeing everyone.

If MG Magic doesn’t come through consider buying a roll of marine carpet and cutting that to fit. That’s what I did on my car and a decade later I’m still finding new and fun uses for what’s left of the roll.
I also tried to make my own door cards but that didn’t go well so I got a real upholsterer to do them right and to match what the original…[Read more]
