love the Talbot Largo Class winner … and No its not a kit car!! LOL I love this concours event with all the cars restored to original factory off specs and build and love the preservation class

get AAA for towing its the cheapest value you can do ! .That’s the first thing I did before I even bought my London Roadster !I have a 1986 LR . It was towed probably 5 times in the first year to my VW air cooled (only)mechanic as I worked out the bugs.it has run smoothly with no issues for the past 2 years .The guys here are brilla… -

Bob when I got my LR I had NO Idea of all the different nuances of the different
kit makes..I got mine because of close proximity, price and
condition..for
myself I lucked out that it was factory built and not someone’s iffy garage
project .I
like my custom tubular chassis while a VW bug chassis would have ease of parts

the battery is under the passenger side seat ..thats a LR build with the gas cap location.all VW powered TDr mostly have Fake louvres

well luckily having a custom heavy tube chassis my LR doors are secure…never opened and I drive the hell outa it !;)
