Two e-Bay TD’s I thought they were the right priceNow neither one runs

In Phoenix, AZ, it’s 53 degrees F at 5:30 a.m. today, and the high will be in the high 70’s or maybe low 80’s, several degrees warmer than “normal”.  I don’t think there’s a “normal” any more.

I haven’t had either one one the road for over a year.  The VW engine rebuild has taken forever, but my being out of work or underpaid for so long didn’t allow me to renew the insurance, so I don’t want to take either one on the road.  If finances don’t turn around for me soon, I might have to sell one or both.

I read the eBay listing.  It appears that there are a lot of things wrong with this.  It certainly is a “project” car.

By Dizzy, do you mean distributor?

Are there other brands that I should consider?

I’m not sure what the mechanic neighbor thinks he can get for $40.  I was a bit skeptical at that price, so the price at $93 seems in the ball park.  That is without condenser and wires, I’m assuming, but I’ll try to stop by the store tomorrow.
