Cool beans. Thanks Ed and Kent. Maybe I’ll get lucky and score a set at the Bug-A-Paluza show in Chattanooga this April. I always make Reynolds GA, Chattanooga TN, Montgomery AL, and Dade City, FL VW shows each year. And I plan own adding Carlisle PA and the VA show Roy et al go to, next year for sure.

Well I finally figured it out. (Note to self (and anyone else.)) My chassis is a 71 chassis so I ordered parts for the transaxle figuring it was a 71. Hey Court Wizard. Where did you connect the ground wire for your new front T?S and parking light socket? In the photos I only see two wires.

During my build of Moneypenny, when I finished the VW chasis and pans, I coated both inside and out with POR-15. Got it at Summit up near Hotlanta. Cost a bunch but well worth it. Yep. That’s another Dell Webb community. Think Sun City! Will be overcrowded and over expensive in another 3 – 5 years.

LHR. I usually go to the B-A-P each year. Been going to that show since 2003. Its 3 hrs from me. Hopefully you, Kent and me can meet there. More too if they’re willing. Kent and I met up there last year. Weather was okay but rain the day before and forecast for late that afternoon put a damper on attendance. Hopefully this year will be better. 🙂

That’s a haul for me (5 1/2 hour drive) but I may give it a try. I do the Fl Bug Jam in Dade City, FL and that’s a 5 hr drive but I generally stay overnight Saturday night. I’ll have to think some on that.

Kent. Is Circle Yer Wagons a VW single/double cab, and camper only show or are beetles, things, Ghias etc. allowed? Never been to that one. I may have to check it out. 🙂

I decided to just stay with the lap belts. I’ll bolt the belt to the original chassis/pan locations. Besides, my lap belts have the MG logo on the buckle.
