I have a defogger in my Duchess….four round vents (probably an inch or inch and a quarter) along the base of the windshield. And a blower under the dash.

Larry, pga64 and others have it right. The fender mirrors do work IF they are convex.

I assume your car is gel coated already? How bad is the finish?
Gel coat is many times thicker than paint and can often be polished and buffed our to a deep shine.
Meguiars makes a line of products specifically for gel coat.

I don’t recall ever seeing an original restored MG TD with the Union Jack badges on the sides of the car. At one time I thought the MG TD Mark II had them. But I just looked at a bunch of pictures and don’t see them on Mark IIs either.
