Hello Danilo,
That sounds like an interesting car. But I’m not at all familiar with the UK manufacturers.
There is a Facebook group that appears to have a significant number of members from Europe. If you do nto get a reply here, I suggest looking for that group, “MG TD Replica/Kit Car Owners Club”

An additional comment on the Classic Roadsters Ltd. approach…
The firewall in a Duchess goes straight down to the floor. The tank is mounted on the VW pan and the filler pipe runs out the front of the tank, and up through the radiator cap.
The replicas that use a VW gas tank typically have the fiberglass molded to allow the tank to “drop…[Read more]

I had a lot of fun with that over the years! Amazing how many people would try to stop my, usually with a “hey idiot, what are you doing” attitude!

Hi folks,
We added the Allison to the selection list for Manufacturer on the Edit Profile Page.
If you own an Allison and had to select “Other” when you created your profile, now you may update your profile.
Not sure how we missed that!

Bill Collins (the member who had the grill badges made) passed away several years ago. We have no contact with any family members, hence no idea if the remaining badges still exist somewhere.
They are 4.5 inches across, have the usual two screws on the reverse. This is what they look like.

That’s pretty funny. The Classic Roadsters Ltd. assembly manual recommended filling the box with sand. You end up with about 150 pounds. I cannot guess what that weighed with railroad tie plates!

Welcome to the forum Terry Pemberton (@Terry, ).
Terry owns a TD2000.
Per Terry, the TD2000 was factory hand-built and sold as new cars. They were not marketed in the USA due to our air bag requirements (Editors note: although I do recall seeing them in the manufacturers’ building at Carlisle a number of years ago).
Terry’s green car is a…[Read more]

We’re hijacking Al’s repair thread, but for a moment…
I believe you will not find a “modern car” to use as the basis for a TD replica. “Modern cars” do not have a frame. And unibody construction doesn’t lend itself well to the kit car world. You need a full frame to build the replica on.
As weak as it was compared to a “real” Mustang, the…[Read more]
