Only one or two sub-zero days.Having worked over thirty years as an outside telephone tech, I am well acclimated with dressing for the weather.Long underwear, wool sweater, leather jacket, hat, gloves, I’m ready for the Arctic…Got LOTS of…[Read more]

Here is a link for a spare tire bracket offered from MGMagic.com:http://www.mgmagicclassicmotorparts.com/spare-tire-bracketwithout knowing what kind of car you have, it may or may not work.Any way, it will give you some idea about what you need. Also, you can find hub caps etc.

Too bad you can’t keep both. I’m sure we ALL wish we had the same dilemma!I agree, the wire wheels and two tone paint scheme make the original a real head turner. It sounds like the BCW is in super shape, and you’d not have any trouble finding a buyer. If you sold it, you can use the $$$ for the original.

From a fellow LR owner,” WELCOME”!:-)It’s a great story, too. Your family’s car has come full circle. Now it’s happy to be home, and you can restore it to its past glory.I’m sure you will have many future drives in your car.If you have questions, this is the place to find answers.Be sure and post pics, when you get some!

The seats look good.
Nice thinking outside the box. Did you know they would work, or did you just “wing it” for the fit?Did your car have seats before? How are you going to attach them to the rest of the car?I take it you’re going to finish the rest of the interior in black?Keep sending pics!
