Vicenc, if you take 13 and the tunnel you’ll be alone. You’ll miss being in the parade with Schu’s party of three, Ed and myself. It’s quite a spectacle on 64 through Newport News into VA Beach.

Bill, I think we did take 301 and 2 before, after some time on 95.
Looks like we can take 97 to Rt 3 and that turns into 301.Vicenc: it’s better to stick together. If you go down the DelMarVa and grab 301 to 50 over the Bay Bridge we could all meet Schu on our side and have lunch & drive on.Think on it. -

I’m guessing you’ve got wire hubcaps, right? If so, not sure where to get just the spinners for those. There are a lot of wire hubcaps out there, all different.You might look at Cip1 and the other VW retailers for a possible solution. Gonna be PUKKA with the wire wheels, man.
I hope and expect you’ll get the rear suspension squared away. Maybe start by weighing the back half without the new diff and axle installed, to get the sprung (or, to-be-sprung) weight. -

I fixed all the stress cracks in mine before a paint over gelcoat and can give you a list of all the materials I used if you send me a PM.
