here’s my pictures     as you can see I got my work cut out for me. yesterday & today I got the front brakes including the backing plates off,painted the new ones. a lot of wire brushing and cleaned up the shock towers I’ll keep you guys posted on my progress I almost forgot there are a couple of pics of sunday at carlisle

Wow. I’m thinking I need to take out my tank and inspect, prophylactically. 

I’ve seen that car before, on this forum. Here is a picture of it plugged in to a battery charger, in a garage.  Same plate, I think.Anyone remember whose this was? Or know how to track down the phots from that poster? Paul?

Welcome to you, Dick. Please tell more about the tires. I might have a similar problem.I hear tell you can balance out-of-round tires by shaving the tread at a performance tire shop.
