I might have some in a box someplace. Need Tach only? What type? Please post a picture if you can or PM me. I think these are the white faced ” Vintage ” gauges that many cars came in – SS or Chrome rings I think. I bought the kit to replace the speedo but got the original to work but might keep that one.

I’ve searched through the black hole that is my garage and the only tachometer I found was a Stewart Warner unit. Odd, because I removed VDO from the car and installed Stewart Warner. Sorry, I can’t help you.

I have a set of VDO Vintage gauges that I removed several years ago. They were the “Vintage” series. What are you in need of?

Try as I might, I am not able to convert my video to a format that I can export.
Anyway, this weekend I’m heading to Summit Point. The 2+ mile Shenandoah circuit is one I have yet to run. Wish me luck.

As did Mark, I also went with agreed value with Hagerty. It’s hard to apply a hard and fast value on these as they are all different.

Another Duryea Hillclimb is in the books. The weather forecast called for rain both Saturday and Sunday. I contemplated not running but decided I’d just go and have fun playing in the wet. My first run was a 182.5 seconds. The rain stopped but the road was still wet and I dropped to 156.3 after my third run. A lot of folks packed up and left…[Read more]

billnparts replied to the topic Question about glass fuse system in Ford Duchess kit in the forum General Discussion 1 year, 1 month ago
Pretty much. The fuse panel should have both “Hot all the time” as well as “Hot with key on only”. If you have wiring with melted insulation, replace the wires. Good luck.

Great find, Lino. IMHO, a small V6 is just about ideal for these little cars. I look forward to seeing more of this one.

After getting a warning about repeated failed login attempts from Vietnam as a site administrator I have made the settings a little more strict. I have set the site to lock accounts after 10 failed password attempts in an hour (same for password reset). The failed account will be locked out for 4 hours.
Frankly, I’ve not seen any legitimate users…[Read more]

The badge bar is a correct place to mount auxiliary lights on a TD. The Moss badge bar has mounting brackets for the fog and/or driving lights built in. There were several different types of TD badge bars, and you can see some had light brackets and some didn’t. The correct lights are made by Lucas.
The originals are actually quite good. I can’t…[Read more]

If you mount the lamps to the badge bar, drill a hole in the bar and route the wires through the bar and mounting bracket to the underside of the fender.

Updating this thread rather than creating a new one. There are more updates on the way. This time to the underlying operating system. Should not be a big deal.
On August 14, 2024, between 3:00 am and 4:00 am PST, we will be upgrading the operating system on your shared server from Ubuntu Focal 20.04 to Ubuntu Jammy Jellyfish 22.04. During the…
