I am wishing to join the Flickr.com MG TDReplica Car Club group, but was told it was by invitation only. Who is the group administrator/moderator, and how do I get an invite?
I tried yesterday, and still waiting.
Also, is getting an avatar posted there the same as it is here, i.e going though gravatar.com?
Thanks from an impatient sort of guy…

Can we access the gallery to view the pictures that were previously posted? When I click on the “gallery” tab I see about 16 pics, but no way to see other members photos. Is there a link that I am missing?

Since I’ve been thinking about hard tops myself, I was happy to make inquiries. There have been some very nice tops in the past. Too bad there aren’t any around, now.I’m thinking of ways to make one myself. Still on the drawing board…Maybe a winter project.

Made for a dune buggy body, it might at least be in the right size range. Overall, I think it’s a nice design. I like the lines and windows. I think it would look good on a TDr.I do have my doubts though as to whether the stock roof would fit a TDr.From the photos, it looks like their windshield is taller than a TDr and so to get it to rest on the windshield there would be a large gap at the rear. Also, it looks to be …[Read more]

Thanks again for posting your video.I just purchased a GoPro myself to make some POV vids of my drives.I tried it out on one of my favorites; along the Sangamon River, one of the FEW hilly and twisty roads in central Illinois. I thought I would get some shots similar to yours, but when I watched it, it was, honestly BORING! I needed a different…[Read more]

This story gets better every day. It’s always great to hear about one’s family members from those those who knew them. It’s also cool that there are some actual movies of your Grandpa and his car.You should see if there is some way to post them on YouTube….We’d love to see them!

Another place is Gateway Classic Cars.http://gatewayclassiccars.com/sell-informationYou can consign your car with them. They have a showroom in Chicago. There is a number to call for information. I’m sure they would charge some sort of fee, but you would get national exposure for your car.Set your price at what you really want and add maybe 10% to…[Read more]
