For what its worth, i think Moss sells a heated throw blanket that plugs into the lighter. Most of us can remember the classic bug where your feet burned and the rest of you froze, blankets were great.

Ive been away for a bit but about the roads its like anything else nice and easy does it every time. The roads and bridges are fantastic!

I paid a shop to water jet my aluminum dash and all the holes. It came out great! Im not smart enough to do it myself so I let my money work for me. I just just tell my wife that it keeps me off the streets so she doesnt give me a hard time on the expense. Little does she know!

Thats why I made sure that Eliza Jane was smog exempt. Its rare to find a kit car in CA that doesnt need smog so I just look at it as bringing more value to her. I really love my car!

I switched my generator out for an alternator the first week I got my Duchess. I also replaced my blue warning light for a red one. Good luck with your kit. I have a Gazelle kit on the driveway that I cant get registered due to smog laws. Im just going to part it out. I vowed to never own a car that needs smog. Its pre 1975 for me from here on out. Good riddens to big government regulations.

Thanks for the feedbac. I think Ill keep the key ignition since I need the security. Sure wouldve been nice to have that retro switch.

The pull switch sounds cool! Do you still need a key and a starter switch or is it always on and hot? Id love a set up like that Im just concerned of unwanted start ups by curious people.

Maybe you can put the high beam push button switch on the back of the dash to keep it off the floor. Somewhere on the left side and in a spot thats easy to reach.
