    Hi, Friends,

    A few of you know me from Carlisle for my royal plum ChromaLusion Bradley GT (with 620 thousand miles!), towing the vintage race kart at this year’s show.

    I have a new and unbuilt Fiberfab TD for VW, and have just finished the chassis, engine and transmission. It’s a very mild 1641.

    Chassis and engine case are POR-15, Heat exchangers and muffler are Jet-Hot Metallic Ceramic. All polished stainless fasteners, real German tins and no wannabe performance mods. The car should be very nice when I’m finished.

    Here’s the engine:

    Hope to have the car on the road before winter.

    Warmest regards, Jeff Troy

    Jeff,

    Very nice! Even if the finished car is only half as nice as the engine, you’ll have a winner on your hands.

    Can’t wait to see the finished car!

    @phil

    very nice.

    May I suggest that you move the emergency brake lever and heater controls behind the shifter before you go any further.

    Jeff,

    Nice job! Looks great. Sorry I missed you this year at Carlisle – hope you get it done this winter. My 1641 is still going great and I think is sized about right for the TD – it has dual Kadrons which I set a year ago April before last years Carlisle and have not touched the engine other then oil change and valve adjustments. 5,000 kms since finish.

    Hope to see you next year,

    Dale
