Does anyone have a source for a nice wood steering wheel for the VW TD? I
am hoping to find a “zero dish wheel” that will bolt on to the VW mount and
not cost a fortune. Chuck
I have a Grant steering wheel adapter on mine and it works great. Allows for many different steering wheels to be used without having to buy the expensive fitted wheels. I think I picked it up at AutoZone. They may have one for the VW also. I know what you mean about zero dish, gives more breathing room

go to the Grant Steering Wheels website, pick out the wheel and adapter kit you want and then order from Summit Racing or JEGS.
You can search by manufacturer and part number, they both add a 3 digit vendor code before the actual manufacturer’s part number. It’s easy and they are the cheapest sources.
