After many years of watching and wishing I could participate in “The Cruise”, my dream finally came true.
We cruised about 14 of the 16 miles down Woodward Avenue from Pontiac, MI. to Royal Oak, MI. in roughly 4 hours, seldom getting out of first gear. They estimate there were about 40,000 custom, classic and hot rods cruising and on desplay and around 1.35 million people.I saw only three other TDs, two were going North while I was going South and the third is owned by a guy from my neighborhood. I ended the cruise parked next to him to just enjoy watching the cars cruise by for a couple more hours. It was a beautiful day and an unforgettable experience.Don Loveless

It had to have been a great time.

"Drive Happy"August 25, 2012 at 9:46 am #251519That Lambo door kit is hilarious–I think they also sell it as a hinge set so you can adapt it to anything. Or–at least–a lot of things.
Coolest idea off the top of my head would be to get a mid ’60s Lincoln 4-door ‘vert–the kind with the suicide rear doors–and Lamboize all four of them.
Man. You put some 24-inch wheels on that, tuck up the interior some, install a righteous system in it & you will be the Pimp King of every urban boulevard from Miami to Seattle.
