Well, I should have guessed that my TD would be a bit out of place at this show (by the name). But I spiffed her up as good as I can, and since it was in my “back yard”, I entered.  No prize.  But a 2011 Corvette won a trophy.  This was a new(er) and a muscle car show.  I really don’t think that a 1-1/2 year old car ought to be eligible for a trophy.  They really didn’t know what to do with me. 167 cars in the show.  Lots of really nice older cars but the judges really seemed to like the newer ones?  Go figger!  Not my idea of a car show.  The older cars just didn’t fare well.  Oh well. There was a Bug Eyed Sprite, myself, an English Ford Anglia, and a like new XKE that the owner had had for 45 years among the foreign (excluding the Asian) cars.  Anyway the 4 of us ended up meeting each other and that was good.  Almost everything else was big engined stuff.

Well your car really looks nice anyway. They obviously don’t know a good thing whan they see it. I see you still have the banjo steering wheel on the car.

Roy, Looking good. Those wheels really add to the overall english style. Well worth all the time and effort you spent getting them on it.

Thanks guys.  MiGi is truly just about as good as I can make her.  But that is not to say that there are not projects on my list.  It’s just that my “done” list weighs significantly more than my “to do” list.

Your TD looks great Roy. I’m hoping to make my “to do” list a “to done” list shortly. Hopefully she’ll look as good as yours.
