Thought all of you people in the no snow areas would get a kick out of this . It started snowing here in Western New York a week ago it hasn’t stopped . Some people have 5 feet . As for me .. I have 3 feet and feel lucky.
December 16, 2013 at 4:11 pm #259021NICE! Good fire place and a nice stack of split hardwood too, I hope.
We got back-to-back three-footers a few years ago in Baltimore & it was a trip. Power went out for more than a day, and we ain’t got no FP in the house…and the gas furnace still needs electric to fire. So that was no fun.
December 17, 2013 at 6:33 am #259022We’re in the Southern Tier of NY and only got 9 inches but is still snowing but only expect another 3 today.
December 17, 2013 at 8:20 am #259023My home town in western Mass has a couple feet of snowcapped with an inch of ice. Glad I moved south to middle Georgia!

"If one thing matters, everything matters" - from the book The ShackDecember 17, 2013 at 2:30 pm #259024I don’t feel so bad here in southwestern Ohio now, only 5-7 inches on the ground. Can’t even imagine 3 feet.
December 17, 2013 at 9:08 pm #259025I’m in the Bahamas. Not much snow here! 😎
But left a half a foot on the ground when I left home, and there has been more since then!
Wonder if the boss would let me work from “home?”

December 17, 2013 at 11:15 pm #259026Better question is will he let you work from the Bahamas? Woo hoo! Merry Christmas Paul and Loren. Have a great time. You can shovel snow when you get back!

It would go viral.
December 18, 2013 at 8:53 pm #259033Hey Allen, that’s why “home” was in quotes.
He doesn’ need to know I’m staying down here.

December 18, 2013 at 10:23 pm #259034I just thought of this . When I was looking at TD’S before I bought mine somebody had one for sale where he put a snow plow blade in front of it.
December 19, 2013 at 3:21 am #259035Mine was a daily driver for several years. Remember the blizzard of ’95-’96? Snow tires on the MG and I went anywhere. I was surprised at how sure footed she was. She just dug in and went.
