"If one thing matters, everything matters" - from the book The ShackI had a dream. It was that I moved away from the frigid upstate snowy winters to the more moderate climate of coastal North Carolina. Then I woke, looked out the window and saw that it was only a dream.
12″ of snow yesterday. More expected tonight and tomorrow. Got all the way up into the low 30’s today.Wish I still had my old Willys CJ2A.Not snowed in down here…just ice and freezing rain. I’d rather the snow over this stuff. Sheesh!!

Been snowing here since 7 pm. I was on the road about 9:30 and it was just short of getting hairy.
Looks like we’re in for it. They’re saying 6-10 inches in Baltimore.We tend to lose power on these and BGE is getting less and less good at getting us all back up quickly. Fingers crossed.Foot on the ground now, raining on top but expected to chill down again later. Muchos enjoyment.
We got about 7″ on the west side of the Smokies — the Carolinas are getting slammed…

10 inches fluffy light snow here in Ennice. With more falling all day I guess. So with a nice warm shop I’ll make some frame to body mounts.

Back at work. Ice thawed enough for the base to open and now everyone is filtering in to work. Macon and Atlanta had it worse than us. Being just below the “gnat line” makes a big difference in the weather as well as the gnats. Big thaw today…supposed to get up to 50. So that means back to work here AND on the TD.
