What type of seal is used on the front and rear of the hood?

He needs rename his build “Orca” and perhaps change the color scheme… 😛
Allen, I suggest you trial fit the hood over the scuttle and the grille surround, then see how much space you have to work with.  You can get universal “O-shaped” seals that are hollow in the center, in a variety of thicknesses.
On my old FF kit, I couldn’t use anything thicker than a piece of welting on the grille shell, but I used 1/4″ solid foam + welting on the scuttle, as I recall.

Baby Harp! Good one Ed.  😛  PETA wouldn’t allow it though.

I have some black welting and white welting. The white welding is on the scuttle but its a bit thin. I think the white welting will work on the front. I’ll have to check it out tomorrow. Perhaps add a second piece of welting on the scuttle only with the bead facing forward.

I have welting on the body cowl and radiator grill shell.
And a thin universal rubber seal on the undersides of the hood.
