    Trusty admin here again…

I’m going to throw a yellow flag on this one also.

I’m not a scientist, but a dead battery is a dead battery.

The link above is to an infomercial at ezbetteryreconditioning.com.

When I dig some digging, one of the things I learned is if you buy Mr. Tom Ericson’s book, you also buy into the opportunity to license his info and create your own “battery reconditioning” sales web site. Sorry, but that just wreaks of “scam” to me.

I found at least a half dozen web sites, all presenting the same info, albeit formatted differently, and with amazingly similar “customer reviews.” Makes you wonder eh?

The book used to be on Amazon. But I’m not able to find it now. Another “hmmm” moment.

    Be careful out there folks!

@hary1232 – Again, if you have personal experience with this ezbatteryreconditioning.com, please do  let us know.

Yet again I have to agree with Paul.  I spent more than a little time on “Diesel submarines” which properly are called “diesel-electric” submarines where our lives depended upon two huge banks of lead acid batteries much like in an automobile except on a very large scale.

    There is no magic wand.

Replace the battery and be happy.

Good catch Paul, if one Googles “battery reconditioning” you will be presented with 100’s if not 1000’s of links and YouTube videos on how to recover your malfunctioning battery. If anyone plans on visiting any of the sites found make sure you have a good virus detection program that will scan the site before you access it and flag it if there is anything dodgy about its contents and then proceed with caution. You will bear the consequences of what you pick up if you don’t and penicillin will not fix it.

    “Reeks,” though, not “wreaks.”

    If something reeks, it stinks.

If it stinks bad enough (say, in a fancy restaurant), it might wreak havoc.
