    Thanks, Paul for the manual add…and thank you to the folks who’ve posted over the years, learned lots. Of the things I can’t easily find, I’m refinishing the steering wheel and the top side rivet holes are all…empty?  Seems like there should have been a plug there to cover up the rivets but everything I seem to find is flush rivets.  It’s about 1/6 to 1/8″ deep.

    Wondering what to fill with…thanks

    Pictures to go along with your narrative will help us understand the problem you have encountered. Also pics of the steering wheel where the plugs are missing and where the plugs are in place

    Looks like my steering wheel. My rivets are recessed a bit too, but have never bothered me. The rivets don’t look like they unscrew from the back. You might be able to sand the front side down to rivet depth, but could do more damage than good. I’d recommend leaving as is and put a nice finish on the wheel.
