The highest quality will come from the dealer, but cheaperOnes can be had from parts houses. Salvage yards are a Good source. Don’t be afraid to mix and match. My car hasMustang police wheels and Firebird trim rings. My ’02Escape had Crown Vic police wheels with BlazerTrim rings.

3m makes a”super” vinyl trim adhesive designed for use on vinyl roofs. That should take the heat. You probably just need their regular auto trim adhesive though. The original TD had a “rexine” (pre-vinyl) material covering the dash. It’s a cool look and should be easy to replicate on any of our dash boards. I’d do it like this:1. take out the…[Read more]

I’m not Paul, but I think that what you are looking for is on this page. Upper right with the star “New Posts”. Click it and a box shows up to the left at the top of the posts. Look for “Show Topics”. Click it and then you get to choose how far back you want to look. Anywhere from 15 minutes on up to weeks or months.

When I installed the headlight relays in my car I replaced the 6014s with H6024s.After the relay install I compared brightness between the two by only installing one of each and the H6024s were much better.I think just the relay install will make a lot of improvement in most cars. The stock 6014 is 60/50 watts high/low beam. The H6024 ha… -

Picked up some steel yesterday and will be fabricating a new
mounting bracket this evening. Will upgrade the design so theweld will be backed up with a bolt. If the weld ever fails againit may flex, but it wont drop. -

John, I agree with your comments about London Roadsters. I’ve had mine since 1994 and have had very few problems with it. LR has one of the nicest interiors of any kit cars that I have seen with quality vinyl on the seats, door panels, kick panels and even part of the area behind the seat. Even the carpeted trunk area is trimed and the flat…[Read more]

On those few occasions when I find myself out after dark I’m happy to have any headlights at all. When they work, mine seem to work fine.

The Nice thing I have found about My London Roadster Olive is that it was factory built …and all things being equal there weren’t any short cuts in the assmble that I can see.And the basic assemble is standard from car to car. Mine has a fctory built chassis which I am happy with .jebarry2012-08-09 21:35:25
