I like it a lot. I often post something expecting a reply and when I do not get one, am wondering if he did not see it. Now I know that he did, and had nothing to say. Helpful. Thanks Frankie. Everthing looks great except the photo gallery which I relied upon heavily to figure out how something goes or at least how someone else did it.

Rocky,
My car is pretty close to Royal’s. But I think my wheel sits a bit closer.Something else to point out….you need a flat steering wheel with zero dish! Just like the one on Roy’s picture.PMOSSBERG2012-02-23 09:16:21

Not a Duchess, but a MiGi. Mine is 5 1/4″ to the wheel spokes.

The front end on my FiberFab is a Chevette and I was told that the shop could not do an alignment. I haven’t taken it anywhere else yet, but that was disappointing news.

Welcome. I’m also in central AZ, living in Phoenix, so we aren’t too far apart. My VW engine is coming together nicely, but still not mounted into the vehicle yet. I’m down your way often, or almost that far south, so if you’re open to visitors, I can stop by to see your treasure toy.

So, I have the engine all back together except for the mascara, rouge, and eyelashes. Today I ran it with the starter motor for about 10 minutes with the plugs out to prime the oil system and give it a very gentle first few turns. I also took compression readings: they were all in the 130-135# range. That seems a little high, no? Should I wor…[Read more]

Rob, now I know why I couldn’t figure out your original post. You have a defective calendar. Good day to burn up some of that excess gas in your TD.

On my calender there is no 29 in Feb, March 1 is correct and is on Thursday so I guess I’m not going to do anything on Wednesday since it doesn’t exist 🙂
