Jack, can you provide some pictures of your car for sale? My coworker is interested in an MG TD Replica with VW engine.

The work I have seen by the Amish has been outstanding . They really care
about the details and a job done right. Not many Amish around Memphis. We
do have some rednecks that could make a dandy top from duct tape. -

Rocky I have been enjoying your restoration since the beginning.
I like how you have been giving a narration of the process along with the photos.
I wish I had headlight mounting brackets like you have on my CMC/FF. They are much nicer than the brackets on mine.
Keep up the good work and the progress reports. -

That looks like a great project for an ambitious member. First gen. Miatas are cheap and the engines are good, I hear. Lotta work putting one together though.

Nice find! My only caveat is to check the dish depth. A lot of the old Grants our cars have are “zero dish,” and these look to have about a 1.5 or 2 inch dish. That could put the wheel just a little closer to your chest than you’d like.

I found this link http://www.sportscars.co.nz/ could be the same kit.

The TD is still my favorite, but aint she purty! I am curios if this is a fairly new kit being produced? I have not heard of any of the members here having one nor talk of seeing one. Arent they producing a TF style kit in New Zealand?

Looks like it might be a Brazilian Avallone, an MG-TF replica. I’ve never seen one for real, but everything I’ve read online sounds great.Looks like a great little project for Calafer!
