 Hey,JHBYRD, We passed thru Erwin every year for 15 or more years on the way to White Lake for vacation.One of the last times ,we drove our yellow TD replica.The temperature was 95 when we went thru Dunn.The car did ok,  it was a hot ride but a fun trip.

Good idea about getting 5 bolt drums and disks. Hadn’t thought abpot that. Duh!!!    I’ll have to drop in on the Samba folks and get the back spacing for the rabbit wheels.

Maybe buy new drums or rotors and have them drilled to your new bolt pattern. Then you won’t be sticking out an extra inch.The wheels you want though–how’s the back spacing on those compare to the VW steelies? I’d check that first.
