Hey THANKS Ed !!
I guess with a little practice inserting pictures will become second nature (or not???). Now I need to practice a bit. Once I get the hang of it I’ll post the front beam replacement “saga.”

The Bugatti looks really great too! I like the numbers. Do people ask you if that’s the year of manufacture?

Saturday was SUCH a nice day, I took the Bugatti for a short cruise and drove past nearby Reindeer ranch. The owners were super people who insisted I let them take pics (twist my arm!). I told them I had another car and after Bug pics, I dashed home and returned with the LR. Everyone was thrilled by both.
(a BIG THANK YOU to Ed for the pic…[Read more]

Jack, it’s more convoluted than even the old site. First you go to your own thing. Upper right corner it should say something like “Howdy, Happy Jack.” Click on that and you get a drop-down menu. At the bottom it says “media.” Hover over that with your curser and you should see another drop-down menu with “albums,” “photos” “videos.” Click on “ph…[Read more]

Hey Ed,
Great picture of what can happen to a shift bushing — and I know from the “fun” experience of replacing that bushing on both Emma and Abby over the past few years…not something I would want to do every 2 years….
On another note, I’ve “taken stupid” and can’t figure out how to post pictures within the text of a post….maybe…[Read more]

Hello:
I’m helping a friend restore a Duchess roadster that was originally built in 1980 and uses a 73 VW beetle platform. The wiring was so hacked up that we removed all of it and are rewiring it using a Speedway Motors 22 circuit wiring kit. The car does everything it’s supposed to except I can’t get it to charge. I suspect it’s in the way I…[Read more]

Steve, I do not. I have the standard nylon bushing.
Sounds like Dr Ed has diagnosed the reason his bushing went south so quickly. I’m betting he gets more than two years out of the new one.
