I could never keep my top in that groove. It’s unnerving when it lets loose at speed. I placed a row of snaps under the top of the frame. No problems since.

It’s flat glass. Any decent glass shop can cut you one. Just make sure they know it’s for a windshield. No big deal. I just had one made. The glass shop suggested tinted glass. It’s different.

I picked up a 1/8″ x 1″ x 48″ aluminum strip at Ace (True-Value) Hardware for less than 10 bucks. I cut it to fit the width of the channel, polished the strip on my buffer, and then used rivets to fasten the forward lip of the top to the strip. Be sure to leave enough room to get the bar into channel when you attach the top lip.

Hi, Buds,
My Fiberfab kit came with a too-large-for-the-frame windshield. It cracked in several places when I tried to install it. I’ve made a Styrofoam template for a service to cut new safety glass, but where do I go from here?.
Does anyone know of a company who will do this, preferably with DOT engraving?

Finally the car was delivered to its garage yesterday. I’m busy at work and haven’t been able to see it. Maybe I can see it this weekend.
