I ended up not only bending the brake ped but I put the throttle a little in front so when I hit the brakes with my big feet I don’t hit the gas. When I’m driving my right foot is just under the edge of the brake.I don’t let anyone else drive her.

Install an adjustable panhard rod. With that you can adjust the car side to side. It will also make the car handle a lot better.

I have a chevette based kit and , Yes the space is quite inadequate. I will post a photo soon. A lot of bending and creative placement to make it work. Especially if you have a clutch pedal to fit.

How structural are the fiberglass side panels?Has anyone made replacement side panels out of aluminum or sheet steel? You could punch louvers in them. -

Roy I know what ya mean. My was only 864 mile, was really beat when got home. That ice cold brown bottled adult beverage sure tasted good. I forgot to ask your wife’s user id for ebay. I’ll send you a pm with mine so you can watch what treasures I find to pay for my car stuff.

But I don’t think it’s going to be a problem the way it is. The wire on the sensor is nice and floppy. Should not mind… - Load More
