Florida Bug Jam in November

Just wondering if any of our members are heading to the Florida Bug Jam this year. Its on Sunday, November 11th in Zephyrhills, FL. They hold the event at the Dade County Fairgraounds and is the last BIG VW show of the year in the southeast. Linda and I are planning on going. Just reserved my room. Although my TD will not be ready in time, I will be getting pics and VW parts. And there are USUALLY 3 or 4 TD kit cars there along with several others. The kit car class is K3. If anyone is going let me know. We can hook up there and compare notes and enjoy the show.

Linda and I will spend Saturday night at the Quality Inn and Suites on Gall Blvd in Zephyrhills. If you mention the FL Bug Jam a queen room is 79.00

Only 3 more weeks to the Florida Bug Jam. The “official” name is Pasco County Bug Jam. I’m looking forward to going. Need to stock up on some of those frequent replacement parts and see some other TDers there. Mark I’ll get with you a week before the show and we can work out a time and place to meet. Any other TDers who want to come along, come join us.

In FL and getting ready to head to the Bug Jam in a couple of hours. We’ll be hearing from Mark K later this morning when they get to the show. Linda and I will be spending the day enjoying the cars and scouring for parts. Also trying to work a deal with an illustrator/artist here to do a pen and ink of the TD and an old 50s style garage like he did for my Ghia. And tomorrow there will be pictures of the show and any TDs we see.  Oh! They show folks are talking 550+ VWs here today. Gonna try to pack 24 in a Beetle. Guiness here they go again!
