    Pat and I have just purchased a MGTD kit car. It is on a 1971 VW Beetle

    chassis. Although the body is in fair shape I would like to know who

    manufactured it. Is there any way to determine this?

    Sometimes we can tell just from looking at it.

    Welcome aboard Scott. I’m building a TD on a 71 Beetle chassis. My kit is a CMC/Fiberfab kit. If you don’t have pics of your TD yet check out the link that does a comparison of the kits with photos. That can be found under Manufacturer Comparison heading in the My Project tab. Again welcome aboard get ready for some fun. These cars a really fun and building or restoring/refurbishing one is great fun and rewarding. Ask questions if you have them. Someone here will jump in and help out. We’re a great bunch.    Oh! Where are you located?

    Welcome aboard. Check under the fronf bonnet, and rear for an ID Tag of some kind.
