If your car had the federally mandated 17 digit VIN then, yes, the 10th digit would designate the model year and the 8th would designate the powerplant. Reconstructed vehicles do not follow that system. Every state designates differently how these get titled.

Arrived home around 11:00 with the clutch not working again. Once I got off the turnpike I used a bunch of back roads go get home without being a nuisance to other cars. Leather aviator cap (Snoopy hat) highly recommended. It looks funny with a Honda, but is perfectly acceptable with these.Welcome.
