That filter is designed for small engine applications…lawn mowers and such. Go get one designed for automotive use.

Your mileage of 26 is double what I got from my last tank. And that was an improvement over the tank before that. Yours is hardly a tale of woe.

I’ve never seen a transverse leaf setup on any of these cars but I recall kits to make this modification being available eons ago. I don’t recall the applications other than the big GM F-bodies (Camaro/Firebird) of the late ’70’s.

I searched your site and was unable to find any grille shells. You have posted several nose pieces that mount onto the grille shell, but that is all.
