Hi Roy and Ed!  Well, not good news.  Removing the tub is way above my skill level.  I might have to live with this for a while.

The replacement capacitor seems to have done the trick.  Let’s hope it holds.

Here’s the next problem:

Thanks all for the good adviced.  Started with the cheap and simple, replacing the capacitor.  Let’s see what happens next.

We made it through as well although Charlene, Lucifer and I evacuated to Louisiana on the 7th.   We left the 560SL and the TDr in the garage under car covers, just in case, so the only fear I had was of flooding.  No major damage to the house or cars when we got back yesterday and power was already back.  All in all, it could have been much worse.

you need a little toe-in or the car will wander when going straight. I had that problem years ago in a dodge put it on the rack & dialed in a hair more toe problem solved
