Hi Folks. Due to medical issues, I was forced to not run the Pagoda Hillclimb in June. We decided to take in the 106th running of the Giants Despair Hillclimb in Laurel Run just outside Wilkes-Barre, PA to make up for it.
This was my first encounter with this hill. Very steep but with mostly nicely cambered turns.

Bit the bullet and sprung for Holley’s Sniper EFI conversion kit. It replaces the 4 barrel carb with throttle bodies. Had to upgrade the electric fuel pump and filters and run a vent line back to the tank and run a few wires. Damn thing would not fire. If you’re looking for more room, cutting the seat back for height and moving it back onto the storage area is quite easy. Just mount it where you’re comfortable. Perfect time to add seat heaters.

Originally these were not painted. It’s gel coat.I painted mine in ignorance. The gel coat could probably have been brought back to life.
