I dont know if your looking for attractive “bling” or just to function, but here is a step that straps on the spare. It is adjustable and is supposed to hold 500 lbs. (Of course your rear cover wont hold that much, but…) I saw one similar posted last year on a thread. and its fairly chee…[Read more]

My wife took the pictures. But he does like to hang out of the car when we aren’t looking. Those fenders are what make the car in my opinion.

Oh forgot to mention that I rewired my horn and installed a hidden stereo. I will post pics of the finished product later. I still need to find out where I want to fit the speakers in so they can be heard but not seen. Any suggestions are welcome. CHC3252012-06-11 12:14:23

Welcome Tex, Hope you find a good ride/project. My father lives not far from you in Dumas. There is a show there every year and I am venturing out a little more and may go to that show. Like TexAg said always good see a fellow Texan.

Thanks, it’s been a lot of fun. My son has taken claim to the car and made sure to tell anyone that stopped by even the judges that it was NOT for sale. LOL

TexAg71,
I don’t get it out much but have not had anyone look too hard at the plates. We have a lot of out-of-state traffic here due to the wind turbines so when they see the blue plate on the back they seem to look the other way. The registration and inspection stickers in the center is perfectly legal in my opinion. The inspection sti… -

Ok well I guess I’m the young buck in this but thought I would share.
First car was a ’76 Ford Mustag II 4 cylinder (never got to drive it as I was only 13 at the time.) Dad bought it for us to tinker with but never got her road worthy before we had to move across Texas. Sold her but she was the best looking baby blue Mustang II (in my o…[Read more] -

MGLondonRoadste,
You can use your email to resize pictures. If you are using outlook its as simple as going to file and selecting to have the pics resized. If you are using Hotmail or Yahoo they also have functions to reduce the size of a pic.
Another way is to open the pic in paint and use the tools to resize by percentage. The pics can the…[Read more] -

BDriver, It was manufactured by Modern Classic Corsair in late 70’s or early 80’s best I can find.
I can’t take credit for the photos as my wife has the photography bug. She was upset when we “lost the light” but was a great ride. even cooled off a little if you can call 86 cool. Got to love Texas.
