I agree with the MustangII front end. If you can install the front crossmember and suspension you will find endless possibilities for brake upgrades all the way up to full size Chevy Caprice brakes. These are all simple bolt ons.https://www.welderseries.com/blog/online-store/ws14540/One of many…[Read more]

I’ve lost every hat I tried to wear. Unless it has a chin strap (Snoopy hat) it’s wind on the scalp.

No hat any time in a rag top – wind through the hair

Did you mean to say that under the scarf there is nothing but tatoos? Except for the scarf that qualifies for my dress code.

I believe we have club shirts for special shows. Speaking personally, I try to dress appropriately for any occasion. Cold weather means a turtleneck over thermal underwear, leather jacket and Snoopy hat with long gloves. That’s good to about 35 degrees with the top down.Shorts, t-shirt or short sleeve collared shirt in the heat of mid-summer. You…[Read more]

In my personal opinion, I think it nice if the women UNdress for the ride.

Low alternator mount? I’d think if the part is not available commercially you could fab one up. And since you’re not running any sissy A/C, PS or other belt-driven detritus, you’ll make easy work of it….Man, that baby looks wiiiide.

That’s a good resource. Anyone know the difference between the advertised Holley )& other) 500 cfm 2-barrel carbs and the stock Holley/Webers that came on the 2.3 Fords?

Schu has a thread on rebuilding the seats to make them more comfortable.
“Painless Wiring” has several universal harnesses with fuse blocks depending how many circuits you need to run. -

I endeded up with both a toggle for the fuel pump (so I could activate the electricals without running the pump) and one for the coil (so I could keep everything on without activating the ignition circuit). These came about just for working on the damn thing, but have been left in place because they are a damn fine detterent. Can’t steal it if n…[Read more]

Rocky,
I have a easy fix ( although I agree w/ all the point above ) – I had a problem one time w/ the valve on my carb going bad and all the gas ending up in the oil case ( another story ), but anyway I resolved this after fixing the carb by buying a 4.00 gas shutoff from the lawnmower section at Auto Zone or advanced auto and putting it under the… -

“Todays younger generation cant drive a stick shift “Yep. Plus joy-riding a TD Replica would be tough, since they’re mostly slow and so easy to spot. So kids mostly just gonna look and envy it, ask you sweet and innocent questions if you meet them. They could take it, but even they, with their little 16-year-old-lizard brains, can think…[Read more]
