For you guys with a Ford based MG, Speedway has a lot of circle race related parts made especially for the Pinto/Mustang II with a 2300 4 cylinder. Link is below. If you want a catalog, ask for their Race Catalog, which has a lot of Pony Stock pages.

Thanks for the link. I ordered the race catalog (also online in digital format). Ordered the T-bucket catalog for dreaming about possible next project.

The race products are surprisingly affordable. Seems like the circle track folks are frugal, at least compared to street rodders.

That’s a good resource. Anyone know the difference between the advertised Holley )& other) 500 cfm 2-barrel carbs and the stock Holley/Webers that came on the 2.3 Fords?

The race Holleys shown in Speedway catalog are the primaries from their four-barrel design. Both butterflies open at same time and it has no choke mechanism. This carb won’t idle until it warms up. My stock 2300 was progressive, with one primary and one secondary butterfly.

If you are looking for a little more adjustment, try to find 5210C it is a Canadian Holly/Webber . Dan
