A panhard rod is a strut or brace you mount to the frame on one side of the car and to the rear on the opposite side. This keeps he body centered over the axle preventing side to side stress on he suspension.

At the very least, install a panhard rod to prevent the springs from breaking.

The frame under my FiberFab Ford TDr is massive in comparison to what sits on it. It’s box channels with steel supports for the cowl and rear apron. The weakest link would be in FiberFabs idea of rear suspension. Eliminate the cut up leaf springs and build a multi link with coil overs and a panhard rod.

It’s just a flat piece of glass. Any good glass shop, not necessarily a windshield specialist, should be able to cut a new one given a sample. They should know you will need laminated safety glass, but you might want to remind them. I’ve had a couple done this way.

Well, it’s paint day, boys.

Final primer-sealer coat this afternoon followed by the red stuff. Looks a lot better this time around but of course I got a nasty run on the scuttle and gouged out a wet spot with the sprayer. And a couple spots not yet quite covering.
So it goes.
