Paul my thought is to make a similar “Tire Step” design, using 1/2″ Steel Tube Electrical Conduit, and stain the wooden slats for the fold down base, to match my dash and steering wheel. MG Magic sells what they call slightly blemished bumpers as “seconds”. I bought one earlier this Spring. They charged me less then $100, plus shipping. They only have them so very often, but it is worth the question to them.
