I have an early FiberFab Migi and the grill is molded into the front pan as is the one in your photo. It  is body color, not chrome, again, as yours.   The seat buckets are also identical to my MiGi.   Dennis P.

Hello again, Yes, that is what I would like to know.  Where did you get the Banjo style wheel, in the picture of your beautiful TDr dash ?  I meant to ask the question of Ed.  amazed and confused… Dennis P. 79 Fiber Fab MiGi, on 67 VW.

cut a dash from apiece of scrap plywood.  cost 0.  my neighbor did for

cut a dash for 20 dollars worth of wood.  used the origional fiberglass dash as a template.  my neighbor  cut it.  if i did it, cost would havebeen zero.  how did you find the td dash piece?

Did some searching, as i am sureyou did,for fun.could not find one, but  i imagine it would be muchless costly to make one and buy a used center guage piece.

Hello,  I use a   Dennis Pstock exhaust but deleted the pipes with baffles and am running straight pipes..I t sounds as loud as a big Harley and supposedly adds a couple of hpower[?]  Nice and loud; drivers know I am on the road, even when they cannot see me!

I know what I am driving, I just don’t want to go airborne.  My other car is a little MGB.  I shattered my knee in a 62 MGA, in 1965 and got back in it as soon as it came back from the body shop, and my cast came off.  The belts kept me in.  Thanks for the help.

Hi, thanks for the response.  Only #3 lost compression.  the local VW guy said it was probably from poor cooling of # 3 which was a problem on the 1500.  the car actually ran 6 miles home and just blew smoke.  It is presently very cold here, as soon as I get a mild day, I will pull the head.  Will check out Samba.  thanks Dennis

We are bafffled also, with our side curtains.  Zip and button up passenger, after they get in and then have someone snap the snaps on to the windshield, after the drive gets in.
