92 to 95 Mine is a Mishimoto aftermarket, from Summit Racing, plenty listed on ebay. Also a matching
fan shroud.
May 13, 2015 at 8:10 am #264439Looks good to me. That extra bedroom could be a parts room. My wife and I live in a 600 sq ft one bed apartment above my 32 by 60 foot shop.

April 1, 2015 at 2:03 pm #254117That sounds great. I’m interested to see it finished. Way to go!

March 4, 2015 at 8:50 am #263457My 49 truck ran half of last summer on battery alone, until one day on the Blue Ridge Parkway it would not start from dead battery. Jumped it off, not parked on a hill. I replace the gen with an alternator. An old fashion rebuild shop is in Mt Airy. I’ll have it rebuilt someday, $60 I believe. Must be one around you.
And the gen and reg should be tested together.
Good luck
February 26, 2015 at 3:54 pm #263361In the mail today, you should receive Monday, I’m told.
It will be a little larger than real maybe 3/16, but you will need to trim to fit yours anyway.
Good luck.
February 26, 2015 at 9:03 am #263359I can trace my 1982 FF blank/uninstalled dash and send it to you, if you want. Maybe not in time for Saturday.
February 20, 2015 at 1:55 pm #263164The lower support is bolted to the frame. I fabricated the frame from tubing.
Cooling would be ok I would think, with a shroud maybe.
photo will show the frame mounting to the head light piece
my apologies for the side ways photos. forgot to rotate in the editor
February 20, 2015 at 1:30 pm #261840The body is a Fiberfab from 1982, VW based but built with a Ford 2.3.
February 19, 2015 at 10:35 am #263161The radiator has 3 mounting points, 2 on the bottom and 1 at top center
I mounted a lower radiator support from 1 in square tubing with 2 cups sized for rubber bushings for the pins of the radiator. A frame of 3/4 inch tubing surrounds the outside front of the radiator, also welded to the lower support. This frame also support the fenders through the headlight mount. The top part of the frame has a removable mounting bracket that has a grommet for the center pin of the radiator.
Also check the Subaru build, same radiator but different mounting method.
The radiator/fan/shroud is an aftermarket Mishimoto, however others are available from ebay.
February 13, 2015 at 9:37 am #263156I,m using a Honda Civic radiator in my Fiberfab with Ford 2.3.
November 2, 2014 at 2:27 pm #261838Bill,
The transmission is a Mustang 4 speed, still looking for a 5 speed but not that important now since I have so many other things to do. The clutch master and pedal assy is from Speedway also the pull slave. I think they are rebranded Wilwood, very similar. The brake masters and pedals are Wilwood. Neat setup, there is a balance bar between the masters to adjust the bias. The rear is 7/8 , the front is 3/4. I wanted to use a cable clutch with a quadrant, but the whole thing was too busy. I tried to fit a single brake master but ran out of space. I am happy with the setup now, except of course the cost.

November 2, 2014 at 1:41 pm #261835a couple photos showing fender mounting and hood support
October 29, 2014 at 10:58 am #261832I’m building a front engine TDr. I added brackets and a length of tubing at the edge of the fender.
I’ll post photos later.
October 26, 2014 at 4:23 pm #261151Glad to see the progress sorry about the problems (x that challenges) I think you used the Honda radiator. I’m using the Honda replacement by Mishimoto from SUmmit, very good quality, of course not in service yet.
October 26, 2014 at 12:55 pm #261830I plan to make removable sides and hood from either crs or aluminum but not until next summer

Welcome, you will find lots of help here on the forum. Be very careful where you make your holes and cuts. On my Fiberfab kit many of the scribe lines were not accurate, so a lot of sitting and thinking goes into building one of these. Even though my kit is a vw based kit I am building it as a front engine 2.3 Ford
I built the frame from tubing and now am working on the floor and firewall.
Good luck on the build, since you are close to VA beach you may want to pop down there for a visit with the guy at the event.

September 14, 2014 at 6:17 pm #261402also using coil overs
September 14, 2014 at 6:16 pm #261401I got a ford 8 inch from currie narrowed to 49 inches. Centers are easy to find.
September 14, 2014 at 11:32 am #261399I used a fatmans front suspension. They can narrow the cross member and the rack to fit your frame and
or the track you want. Mine is narrowed to 48 inches.
