It was just a suggestion, so if donation is keeping this “super” site alive…perfect like this…There is no reason to change if it is working good like this.

I was finally able to order my badge…Super.
But no donation possible…so I will send money by mail to Frank.
I received very usefull information and help from this Club and it is just normal to give money once a year…why are you not charging 10$ or 20$ to be a menber of the club ? I think everybody can effort that ?

Just found it this morning….1969 platform (11936……)…with a 1975 engine (AJ 058…..)
Also, on top of the front axle beam I found a sticker whith these writing : VW 11340102 11 (or H) than 130CL or 1300L/1500 Made in Brezil
40 years old platform…not surprise that I have to replace the floor pans !!!!! LOL

Did you chek if your Duchess is marked as Grand Duchess or this one is a real “limited edition”. Any other member with a “limited edition” ?

The photos on the photo gallery are not from my car…it is a ford front engine and it was posted by error..I just removed them. I was to buy that ford TD but finally came back home without the car.
The one I have presently and that I am restoring is a Fiberfab VW.
The Grand Duchesse is one that I want to buy and that I will drive next summer during the restoration of the Fiberfab.
I am asking all these questions on the Gr.Duchess as I have to decide rapidly if I am buying it or not…

I just tryed again to buy a badge and It tell me That the transsaction could not be completed….the problem, i think, is on my side…

The Gr.Duchess in question has a name plate in the front storage compartiment ( all finished with carpet…very clean) where you can read “limited edition” and this car is # 21 out of 250. Was there only 250 Duchess produced or there was a special edition limited at 250 kit ??? (I can not post the photo of the name plate!!!) This one is black with real wire wheels.

As the chrome grill shell is also out of my budget…would it be possible to have tha fiberglass one chromed like they are doing for plastic moldind or name plate on car ????
