Have you tried starting it up run it 20 min shut it off 10 min see if it smokes on start up . At one time I owned a 1985 nissan truck . I thought it was burning oil. (smoke looked blue) It turned out to be hot air meeting cold with reflection off the dark colored truck. made it look blue.

I to had a fender rub . The brace on a London Roadster attaches to the top of the shock . The has a oval bolt hole so the brace can be pushed up or down there forth raising or lowering the fender. All I did was use a floor jack with a 8 in. block of wood raised to desired height and tightened nut.

greg press replied to the topic buy MGTD carpet or upholstery shop in the forum General Discussion 12 years ago
I had the same question . I asked home depot and they said to cut the carpet to the sizes I wanted, bring it back and they would have it bound the cost was small. As it turned out the piece of carpet was bound all the way around and between pushing edges under side panels and trim no raw edges. When I went over the hump by the shifter piece was…[Read more]

I had a rubbing problem also up front . Front fender brace is adjustable so I moved the fender brace up a inch and it took care of it.There was also rubbing in rear. The brake line was rubbing against the tire . Both easy fixes
