As said welcome. I have found this to be a great site. Please do show us your rewiring. If I dont get my TD sold rewiring will be my lext project and Im not looking forward to it.

Roy I may have to do that. Its been sitting on a shelf in my den for years. I had never even thought about being able to get parts for it.

Roy I have one of those that I would guess I got about 60 years ago. Mine also is missing a back tire as well as one head light. I can tell you for sure that it has more miles on it than the one I drive. I can rember spending hours and hours with that thing.

Ed I may do that. In fact I have a guy that wants the trailer. I just thought I would try it this way first. That way if someone from 3 or 4 states away wanted it they would have a way to get it home.

I contacted AMSOIL to see about getting some oil.They wanted to know how many miles I would drive a year. I guessed about 1500. They suggested that I get a new oil that they now have. Its called Z Rod. So I ordered a case and it came today. Im going to try to change oil this week. A case should last me a few years.

I had’nt thought of doing that but it sounds like a great idea. That way you can do a one stop check on all of the grounds. But Im not sure I understad the tie plate you used.

I just put a bus cable on mine . It works great.

Do to Carlisle being about a million miles from Kansas I would guess that I will never make it to the show. I sure hope you guys post some pictures. It sounds like a blast.

Thats what I was wondering. I use the green sta-bill with the ethanol treatment in my boat. Ill start putting it in my toy.  Ill talk to some of the race car guys around here about were to get the oil. Thanks

That is a GOOD LOOKING car. What is the main diffrence in the MP Lafer and other td kit cars? What I mean is, is it just a diffrent brand of kit or is a diffrent car?
