  • I have decided that the front suspension will be fine as it is.  On the rear I had to remove all of the body bolts from the pan and lift the body about three inches to allow the removal of the plate that holds the torsion arm.  Once this was done I was able to pull the torsion arms and re-index the splines on the torsion bars to get the proper ride height.

    I am a new member and this is my first time asking a question.  I just purchased an MiGi TD replica on a 1966 VW chassis.  The front suspension is sagging and I was wondering if the torsion bundle in the tubes could be removed, turned over so the twist is in the opposite direction and re-installed.  Would this lift the front end back up…[Read more]
