It sure sounds fun, yet it should be hit and humid in Pennsylvania in August. Maybe someday I will be able to attend this event with you all.

I’d be interested in a western oriented meet, more especially if I could either car running and presentable again. -

MGLondonRoadste replied to the topic convertible top for Fiberfab in the forum Site 5 years, 6 months ago
My Fiber Fab will need a new top if I ever get her running again. I never came with one when I got her. I let her sit too long without running her and I have a big job of trying to get this engine started again. I’m taking one project at a time, and the London Roadster is first on the list. I may need a new top for it, as well. Luckily there is…[Read more]

The carburetor is on, yet I need to get a flexible socket extension to tighten the bolts in the back next to the fan housing. I’m not sure if the rear deck lid is going to fit with it sitting on top of the carburetor.
The exhaust is ready to hook up, but getting the aftermarket heat transfer tubes in is not easy.

A month after that I lost my job again, yet got an interview the next week for a better job that started at the end of April. I spent the next few months settling in and then it was too blazing to work all outside all summer.
Fall activities kept us busy. The guy helping me is my girlfriend’s brother who now lives in Michigan. He and his wife t…[Read more]

Thanks. I guess that I was too lazy. Carlisle, Pennsylvania. I did drive one of them down to Phoenix from Port Townsend, WA years ago (with a little tow to make the last 50 miles). I’m not so sure that I’d want to make that trip from Phoenix, Arizona to Pennsylvania. I was between jobs when I picked up the London Roadster. I am now working aga…[Read more]

Hello folks! I’ve been rarely on this site for a while. I’ve had a few job changes and finally got out of that state job with the low pay (great benefits crap).
I’m still not rolling in dough, yet I have a few penny’s more to start looking at reviving my two once beautiful sweethearts. Can someone please tell me where this May event is bein…[Read more]

With my girlfriend’s brother’s help, we are trying to get the engine started today. The prior mechanic moved out of town and doesn’t return phone calls any more. We test fitted the new Dellorto carburetor and in that process, noticed that the accelerator cable is missing, and the accelerator pump diaphragm is missing. We’re on a parts run…[Read more]

Thank you both very much. I started a new job in March and it is construction hours, 10 hours a day, 50 hour weeks with 2 out of 3 weeks someone having to work the 10-hour Saturday for a 60-hour week. Getting up at 4:00 a.m. does not leave much time in the evening for tinkering.
Keeping the yards in shape and other household chores, packed in w…[Read more]

I’m trying to see if I could get an adapter for the master brake cylinder in a London Roadster for a Speedi-Bleed kit. Yet it has been years since I’ve driven it and it’s going to need a lot of attention when I get some time in the fall or a few cool hours in the early morning this time of year. Where can I find the master brake cylinder in t…[Read more]

I grew up in Southern California, just north of downtown Los Angeles. When I first moved to Phoenix, AZ, I thought I’d be back to California in a few years. 31 years later, I have a house and yard that I’d never be able to afford back home. It’s sunny over 300 days a year and yes, it does get hot in the summer. I’d rather pay for air cond…[Read more]

MGLondonRoadste replied to the topic GPS in bright sunlight in the forum General Discussion 10 years, 3 months ago
I haven’t used a GPS in a long time, but I do have some of those commercial shades such as those in the Amazon link. They work well enough, unless the sun is at your back and directly on the screen. I partially solved the problem in my Honda S2000 but using a mounting bracket near the top of the transmission tunnel.

If I had a roll bar or hoops installed, I’d want them to fit under the convertible top. I only have a lap belt, so I don’t know if I’d stay inside in the event of a roll over. Is this new addition a race track requirement?
