Ray, I found the photo on the web.  But I thought all MP lafers had those covers. I know mine does.  I actually have thought about getting a tire and cutting it and cementing it over the cover.

Thanks guys, Finally getting to look under the hood and here is what I am seeing: I found this wire (under the spare tire, in front of vehicle), which was not connected to anything.
