That looks like the stuff I used for my dashboard top “bead cheat.” Finished job here. I used just a little more of it this fall to trim my auxiliary switch panel. Not expensive, conforms well to curves.
A little goes a long way.edsnova2014-12-22 21:30:02

Ed, you’re a riot! Is “distribution of mass” the same as balance? You really ought to check your weight on each wheel using my bathroom scale technique.According to https://schuvettelainen.wordpress.com/2012/07/15/f1-drivers-the-age-issue/You may have a significant Steve Martin “wild and crazy guy” advantage.

Looks like one event in VA, Feb 1, Bill.
“Chillycross.”Don’t think I’m gonna make that one. I did enquire at NASA about their classing & etc.Seems to me we’re about equal, engine-wise. I’m guessing your rig weighs 300 lbs more, but that any advantage I might derive from that would be quickly wiped out by your superior tread width, track wi… -

Bill I wouldn’t bet on me to beat you with Bridget with or without your cage on, but I’m gonna do my dirtiest. For sure I’ll have more power-to-weight. The only trouble will be chassis, suspension, and the fact that I–as we have seen–have no clue how to drive.

I accept the challenge. Spoke to the gentleman who will be building the Hillclimb cage today. He has startrd on some preliminary plates and will be coming to my garage early next week to take some measurements and get some tubing bent prior to having to take the car to his shop. I’m thinking of coming to Carlisle with the cage in place just to be…[Read more]

Paul, if there is an Iron Butt/Longest Driven/Farthest Towed award to be given out, I declare myself ineligible since I won it in 2012. A good chance for a fresh face at Carlisle to take home a trophy.

I agree with Oak Island John, however, without LR’s pinstriping. Looks like a nice clean TDr. I recently priced a Sunbrella top for mine: $850.

All beautiful to my eyes. But why they performed a mastectomy on the iconic T type, Jane Mansfield like, curvy cowl is beyond me. While there are many changes, it is more TF looking than anything else.

Looks like he put a straight axle in it.
In fact, if Noyes was not the size of a jockey, it looks like the car was somehow made about 10 percent larger than a stock TD. It’s taller and longer. -

I ran a petronix module in Bridget, which had an SVDA and a 34 PICT 3 like yours. Worked perfectly once I turned the thing to correct timing. I had set it static with points and the Petronix system required me to turn the disty about 25 degrees for the same timing. I ended up using a timing light to get it to 28 degrees before TDC at 3000 rpm.…[Read more]
