Thats what I have – originally came from MG magic – drill at dimples and use a counter sinker bit and counter head machine screws.

MG Magic had those for a long time – I bought a pair a couple of years ago ( maybe more ) and think I paid 85.00 for the pair on special. Might give them a call as well.

I feel my driving space is fine on my Fiberfab but always wondered why they made the leg space so much shorter on the passenger side when there is room under the gas tank to allow the same space for the right seater as the driver. On my list of to do items this winter. Cut fiberglass and extend the foot well. -

I have been using some for years on mine but it was when I did not have a top and the windshield was reversed because I thought it looked better. Now with a top I have it in the correct orientation I can still use them but if I want to install the top I have to remove. I had thought of leaving out a couple of small pieces of the metal bar… -

With a rear VW engine don’t get a closed version – ask me how I know – I had to remove mine because I started overheating with my 1641 – you will need more air – get one with a hole if possible.If you stand behind the car when someone pushes the gas you can see the fabric getting sucked into the spare as it hunts for air. -

A Fiberfab VW based car has flat metal bar extensions from the original pedal cluster to the new cluster that is mounted to the floor pan. It would be an easy fix to just use longer flat steel stock and redrill the holes and move the secondary cluster rearward and closer to your seat if desired. I don’t have any of the above but have a local VW repair guy that does a lot of parting of old bugs etc. and I am sure he has the stuff you need. I can give him a call ( I can stop by on my way home most any day but today ) and see what he has laying on his shelves. Anything else you need?Also – just finishing up my ride – need to replace brake… -
